Lama Karame
Lama is a lawyer and legal researcher. She joined the Legal Agenda in 2011 as an intern and was a Board member between 2012 and 2015. Since 2017, she has been the head of the Strategic Litigation Department, where she contributes to the litigation of various human rights cases in Lebanese courts. Her research primarily focuses on the intersectionality of law and society. Lama holds an LL.B. in public law from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Lebanese University. In 2015, she graduated with distinction from SOAS University of London with an LL.M. in law, culture, and society
