Sahar Mandour
Sahar Mandour is a Lebanese-Egyptian writer, journalist, and novelist. She is currently the Lebanon and Jordan researcher at Amnesty International. Sahar worked as a journalist and editor at Assafir from September 1998 to January 2017. Her work focused on gender issues, social movements, and cultural production in Lebanon, Egypt, and Palestine. She has also written four novels, including Hubb Beiruti (Beirut Love), published by Dar Al Adab. Sahar holds a master’s degree in media studies from SOAS University of London.
