Myriam Mehanna
Myriam is a lawyer and researcher. She joined the Legal Agenda in 2015 and became a member of its General Assembly the same year. She was a Board member from 2016 to 2018. Since 2017, she has headed the Legislation Department. Her research focuses on judicial independence in Lebanon and the Arab region. She was a primary contributor to the Legal Agenda’s draft law on the independence of the judiciary. Myriam holds a Ph.D. in private law from the Paris II Panthéon-Assas University. Since 2015, she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut
