Joelle Boutros
Joelle is a researcher in history. She joined the Legal Agenda in 2014, where she works on documenting and writing about many historical issues related to social and judicial movements in Lebanon. She heads the Archiving and Documentation Department, where she follows all issues related to the organization’s activity and places them in their historical context. She also monitors the media, its relationship with the judiciary in Lebanon, and its coverage of human rights issues. She regularly comments on these issues for the Legal Agenda’s website. Joelle coordinates and supervises the production of The Legal Agenda magazine and the organization’s production of audiovisual material, including short films and interviews. Joelle has been a member of the Legal Agenda’s General Assembly since 2015 and has twice been elected to the Board as the employees’ representative.
