Wahid Ferchichi
Wahid is the president of the Board of the Legal Agenda–Tunisia. He is a professor of public law at the University of Carthage, Faculty of Legal, Political, and Social Sciences of Tunis, where he supervises the Master of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law program. Wahid devotes his studies to two main themes: individual freedoms and the democratic transition. He is a former member of the National Investigation Commission on Corruption and Malpractice, a member of the National Institution for the Protection of Personal Data, and cofounder of the Tunisian Association of Defending Individual Liberties. Currently, within the framework of the Civil Collective for Individual Freedoms, Wahid is conducting a broad advocacy campaign to achieve complete and effective gender equality, the abolition of capital punishment, and nondiscrimination against LGBTQI++ people.
